A 25-year-old man survived being shot while walking through Ramón García Park Sunday night, The Eastsider reported.

The news outlet said police believe the shooting to have been gang-related.

According to police, the shooting happened at 11:20 p.m. in the 900 block of South Grande Vista Avenue. Police said the victim, who was not identified, was walking through the park when he was shot by a man who ran away.

The Eastsider reported the victim was hospitalized with stable vital signs.
