Fans across Los Angeles took to the streets on Saturday to celebrate the Dodgers’ victory over the Blue Jays and their ninth World Series title.

Fireworks lit up the skies in Boyle Heights, and families erupted in cheers as soon as the game was over.

In East LA, revelers gathered along Whittier Boulevard, waving Dodgers flags, blowing horns, and setting off fireworks.

As law enforcement closed nearby streets in anticipation of the celebrations, crowds soon filled those same blocked-off roads, playing music, dancing to “Caballo Dorado,” and turning the night into a block party.

Here are some scenes from the celebrations.
