A storm flooded a Boyle Heights neighborhood, trapping cars in rain and mud on Monday. ABC Los Angeles reports that the 500 block of Bernal Avenue had mud and debris that cleanup crews had to clear after the flash flood.

At least nine vehicles were trapped and one driver had to leave her car in the middle of the street after it was almost completely submerged. One basement was entirely flooded in four feet of water.
