One person was shot multiple times near the Keck Hospital in an incident Thursday afternoon, KTLA reported.
According to the media report, investigators were at the scene Thursday in the area surrounding the USC Health Sciences Campus in Boyle Heights, including Hazard Park.
An LAPD spokesperson told KTLA that authorities responded to the 2200 block of Norfolk Street –the hospital’s location– at about 5:10 pm.
It was not clear how, but the victim was taken to a hospital. No details were given on the victim’s identity or his or her condition.
