A suspected drunk driver who allegedly crashed into two cars in the Hollenbeck area was taken to his home in a police vehicle and told to go to sleep by LAPD officers who later lied about the matter on a police report, the L.A. County District Attorney says. 

Two officers are being charged with one felony count of filing a false police report in connection with the Oct. 2014 crash. It’s not clear why the officers allegedly tried cover up the driver’s involvement in the crash.
