For our next community meeting, Boyle Heights Beat will look at the process of applying for financial aid –what’s available and how to get it. We will focus on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) that high school Seniors are expected to fill out, and look into grants, loans and other financing possibilities.

Community members –especially high school students and their parents– are invited to attend the meeting, taking place on Saturday, January 23, from 10 am. to noon, at the Community Room of the Boyle Heights City Hall, 2130 East 1st Street.

Come learn about various options and find out what’s right for your family. The presentations will be in English and Spanish and coffee and refreshments will be served. It’s free and open to the public.
