A new air treatment facility in Boyle Heights is helping Boyle Heights residents breathe easier. NBC is reporting that the facility at the intersection of Mission Road and Jesse Street will treat the odors emanating from nearby factories and two major sewer lines that cross the neighborhood.

It’s a 17.8 million dollar plant that comes with a park. The green space is still under construction with a soccer field and bike paths expected to come later in 2019.
