A hit-and-run accident left a male motorcyclist dead Monday morning in Boyle Heights, reports CBS News.
The crash occurred around 6 a.m. at the intersection of Soto Street and Lancaster Avenue.
The 54-year-old male motorcyclist was leaving his job as a probation officer at the Eastlake Juvenile Facility when he was hit by a gray four-door Honda Civic DX that was changing lanes.
The unidentified victim died at the scene.
