Los Angeles police is seeking for the public’s assistance in an investigation of a man who was shot to death in Boyle Heights Saturday.
Around 12:20 a.m. Saturday, 25-year-old Ramon Gerardo Vera was in a parking lot at the Wyvernwood Garden Apartments in the 2900 block of East Olympic Boulevard when someone shot him multiple times with a 12-gauge shotgun, according to a press release by the Los Angeles Police Department.
Vera was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives believe the shooting is gang related.
