From The Eastsider
Police say a man walking near 1st and Soto streets early Sunday morning was shot and was reportedly in critical condition in a nearby hospital, The Eastsider reports.
The victim, a Latino man in his 30s, was approached by a dark sedan about 3:30 a.m. After some words were exchanged, a passenger got out of the car and shot at the victim multiple times, striking him once in the abdomen.
An earlier shooting was reported late Saturday in El Sereno, but police believe the two incidents are not related.
