Hazard Park opened a new jogging path and outdoor fitness zone over the weekend. The USC funded project also saw improvements to the basketball and tennis courts.

The funding came in Spring when USC contributed over a million dollars for the Hazard Park renovations. Councilman Jose Huizar welcomed the contributions saying that the park has a lot of history for nearby communities including Boyle Heights and Ramona Gardens.
