Father Greg Boyle, director and founder of Homeboy Industries, is once again on the bookstore circuit, promoting and signing his 2009 book “Tattoos on the Heart: The Power of Boundless Compassion.” It is a series of stories built around his 20 years working with gang members in Los Angeles County as pastor at Dolores Mission in Boyle Heights and later as director of the largest gang intervention program in the country. This memoir shows how unconditional love can help people turn their lives around.
