A nurse and firefighter were stabbed Tuesday night by a hospital patient at White Memorial Medical Center in Boyle Heights. KTLA reports that the assailant pulled a knife from their sock and stabbed the nurse in the shoulder and the firefighter in the arm.
Neither victim received life threatening wounds and both are expected to make a full recovery. The attacker, who remains unidentified, was arrested for attempted murder.
