Rubén Funkahuatl Guevara, pioneer Eastside Chicano rock musician, record producer, poet, historian, and journalist will read excerpts from his life memoir Stoke the Fire, Kiss the Flames on Sunday, January 24, 2016, 2:30-4PM, in conjunction with the 5:00 PM performance of Eastside Heartbeats, a new musical about the East LA music scene in the 60’s. Admission to the reading is free.
