CASA 0101 Theater is proud to present “Chicanas, Cholas y Chisme: Yo Sola y Que”, a collection of one-woman shows written and directed by Latinas in celebration of Latina voices. These 5 all-new solo shows will be presented over a special, limited 2 week engagement and feature emerging and established Latina playwrights, performers and directors.
“Chicanas, Cholas y Chisme: Yo Sola y Que” is the third and final production this year by Chicanas, Cholas, y Chisme, a program that began from the desire to foster more Latina-driven creative work. Since its modest beginning in 2013, Chicanas, Cholas, y Chisme has more than quadrupled in size. Because of its success, three different productions for short plays, one-acts and one-woman performances are scheduled at Casa 0101 this year.
