Police are searching for the suspect in a Tuesday night shooting that left a man suffering with numerous gunshot wounds, The Eastsider reports.

Patrol officers responded to a radio call of shots fired at about 11 p.m. near the 300 block of N. Mathews Street, said Sgt. David Torres with LAPD’s Hollenbeck Division.

When officers arrived, they found the victim on the ground suffering from numerous gunshot wounds. The victim, a man between 26 and 28 years of age, was transported to the hospital. He was reported to be in stable condition.
