A mother and her youngest daughter lost their lives while the father has just been released from the hospital and is waiting for the release of his oldest daughter.
To raise funds and help the family cope with this tragedy, a Movie Night in Ramona Gardens will be held at 5p.m. this Friday, March 28 in the gym at the Ramona Gardens Recreation Center on Lancaster Avenue. The movies will be Frozen and Walking with Dinosaurs.
Several organizations and members of the community are supporting this fundraising event under the coordination of Officer Mishell Harvey-Dixon from the Hollenbeck Police Station.
Entrance fee will be $2 and snacks will also be sold. All the proceeds will go to the family.
